ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide for the purchase of product and services, primarily in support of the operation at the most competitive cost, best possible quality and most timely delivery.
-Locate, establish, and maintain relationships of the highest degree of integrity with all suppliers.
-Secure on time delivery of all products and meet operational budgets.
-Negotiate and reconfirm terms & conditions, including warranty, price, discount, warehousing, and delivery.
-Drive the best global supply of commodities; including identifying opportunities, utilizing cross functional resources to implement.
-Use e-commerce tools to expedite project implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering is preferred;
-Strong propensity for excelling in a demanding environment ;
-Excellent interpersonal skills;
-Effective written and oral communication skills;
-Effective team player and facilitator;
-Experience with principles and procedures related to contract terms and conditions ;
-Strong PC, Microsoft access, Data warehouse and production planning experience. Understanding of e-commerce tools;
-Working with International organizations is preferred ;
-Quality experience preferred. |
