Primary Responsibilities
1.Directs the activities of the Merchandiser.
2.Builds international vendor partnerships by communicating product requirements and monthly rolling buying plans.
3.Negotiates program element with vendors on behalf of and as delegated by the merchandising teams.
4.Gathers information on and identifies new products and new vendors.
5.Provides product recommendations and vendor recommendations from the qualified international vendor database for all product divisions.
6.Maximizes the use of Merchandising Teams'time by assisting in the planning and coordination of local travel arrangements, vendor meetings, and factory visits.
7.Provides and maintains accurate and reliable cost information for the import costing model (including all costs-quota, duty, labor, material cost, shipping cost, and product cost).
Qualification and Experience requirement
1.Minimum 8 years merchandising experience with DIY home and garden decoration product categories, including but not limited to: Power Tools, Hardware, Garden Tools, Paint Tools, OPE, Grill, Flooring. Technical background is preferred.
2.Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English.
3.Proficient in the usage of personal computers including Microsoft Office software.
4.Basic understanding of retail business and import sourcing terminology's.
5.Strong negotiation skills.
6.Strong organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities
1.Maintain and communicate information in a qualified international vendor and product database (electronic file and hard copy file).
2.Monitor and report vendor performance against established logistical goals.
3.Provide timely and accurate order confirmation and order status information through a defined communication vehicle bridging foreign vendors and the Merchandising Teams.
4.Coordinate pickup of completed orders when applicable.
5.Document all activities performed.
6.Assist in the preparation of offer sheets and program communication documents to the merchandising teams.

Qualification and Experience requirement
1.Minimum 3 years merchandising experience with DIY home and garden decoration product categories, including but not limited to: Power Tools, Garden Tools, Paint Tools, OPE, Grill, Flooring. Technical background is preferred.
2.Strong organizations skills.
3.Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English.
