Main tasks
Take part in contracts negotiations with component suppliers to define the supplying conditions for raw material:
-Starting from volume forecasts data
-Negotiating the specific articles for AUTOLIV INFLATOR
Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Diversify purchasing resources:
-Looking for new suppliers in order to ensure the supplying.
-Receiving suppliers in a commercial approach.
Guarantee a containment to solve problems due to exceptional situations (stock break, program evolution)
-Providing raw material supplying
-Supporting commercial relationship with suppliers.
Answer to different project leaders' needs regarding quotations, samples, etc
-Putting a price on new airbags' Bill Of Material
-Taking part in project tollgate meetings to answer R&D Department problems
Pilot general annual negotiations for different components families.
Support products purchasers
Take part in the suppliers' panel definition
Manage Internet Autoliv Partner Portal (APP)
Take part in information meetings about Risk Assessment within ISO TS16949
