Responsibility:
-Implement ASSA ABLOY Global Supplier Assessment Process
-Develop and manage a team of supplier auditors / inspectors
-Interact and support Category Managers and Sourcing Project Managers
-Perform Full Supplier Assessments and Supplier Quality Audits
-Supplier development and process improvement
-Generate and respond to all Corrective Actions assigned to suppliers.
Requirements:
-Minimum 8 -10 years working experience
-University/ polytechnic graduate (Masters) in a technical/ engineering field: degree holder or higher-diploma holder with extraordinary capabilities or experience.
-Strong background in Quality work is a must. Any experience in Sustainability (environment, H&S and ethics) is an advantage
-Experience with ISO9000 and ISO14000 is a must. Any experience with QS9000 and SA8000 is an advantage
-Engineering or Supply Management / Purchasing background is an advantage. Good project management capability is crucial.
-Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Supplier Development is an advantage.
-Must be a resourceful character with strong interpersonal skills; a natural leader with a patience to listen
-Must have strong analytical skills as well being able to organize, structure and prioritize different tasks.
-Must be action oriented and able to drive projects on their own
-Fully capable of report-writing and communicating to sister companies in written English. Able to translate technical documentations / standards between English and Chinese.
-Experience in implementation of Quality systems and supplier auditing
-Local and regional travel frequently and inter-continental occasionally
-Excellent spoken English is a must.
-Experience from Automotive Industry is an advantage
-Experience in working in Asian Countries is an advantage |
