GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is the lead sourcing professional for Service Solutions businesses for electronic commodity area. In this capacity this individual would be responsible for receiving and aggregating sourcing demands from Service Solutions businesses; identifying suppliers with capability, experience and capacity to provide the required products/service; supplier quotations; bid analysis; business case finalizations; negotiations and contracting. They would also be responsible for assisting quality maintain an oversight on the supplier's quality management system and work with the Sourcing Manager to continually improve supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance within Service Solutions. This position develops supply-base capabilities, resolves product problems, assists in re-design alternatives and provides technical interface between SPX and the supplier in Asia.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1.Lead all quotations and bidding for Service Solutions businesses in the Asian supply base in specific commodity segment(s).
2.Assist quality in implementation of supplier quality management strategies. |
